All the hard work and track preparation leading to VicMow’s 2nd annual Lang Lang Mower Mayhem payed off. With the days temperature reaching the mid 30s, 19 racers were battling hard for a win on a damp and mostly dust free track, thanks to the help from local water truck guys Reg and Alan who dumped approximately 32000 gallons of water on the track throughout Sat afternoon and Sunday, race day. With Sam being the only B class mower able to attend she moved up and mixed it with the A class mowers, even taking out 3rd place in a couple of heats. Well done Sam. It was great to see both Tony and Luke make the trip from Camperdown after what must have been a marathon effort working on their mowers to get both of them fixed, and up and running after the gremlins that popped up two weeks prior at Neerim. Well done guys! We would like to say a BIG THANKYOU to our helpers on the day, Colin our M.C., Minapre- videos, Danny- pre grid and recovery, Craig our starter, Yench- flag and track assist, Brad helping pack up the track and an extra Thank You goes to Blair who did an awesome job on the chequered flag and counting out the laps, we are so glad you enjoyed yourself, it was great having you there!
Our next race is at Churchill on the 19th March more details to be announced shortly
